11 Ogos 2017 | Norra Rich Nasi Kerabu

Stimulated Our Appetite
(The First Bite Was The Best)

Then we arrived at warung Norra Rich Nasi Kerabu in Kg. Gong Pak Jin, Kuala Terengganu.  Famous for its nasi kerabu. It might not be cooked with blue peas flower, but it still had all the required spices. So it's still  giving an aromatic smell. Actually we’re a bit late for breakfast. Anyway we ordered  kerabu rice with grilled chicken, grilled beef and the salted egg. Everything then politely served on the table. Nevertheless the aroma of roasted meat kept floating in the stall. Surely it stimulated our appetite. By then everyone was ready “on your mark”  to start the first taste. Anyway the first bite is the best.

Because Of High Demand
(The Aroma Of Roasted Goat Kept Floating)

We finally arrived at Cik Tri Sahara Kambing Bakar Restaurant in Persiaran Setia Utama, Bukit Raja, Selangor. We parked the car across the street. Well, it's said, roasted goat dishes had been gaining popularity recently. So many stalls and restaurants were offering roasted goat menu because of the high demand. Anyway, we were fortunate enough to have the number 34 table. By then the aroma of roasted goat kept floating in the restaurant. It was really tempting, and it stimulated our appetite. That's how it sounded. However tonight's atmosphere was a bit noisy with customers' voices, and so was the sound of spoon and fork could be heard gently. Many customers were of course with different tastes and different eating habits. Anyway they just came to relieve their hunger. Though it's a bit late, customers were still coming, despite having to wait for an empty table.

9 Julai 2017 | Laksa Ikan Sekoq

By Licking Our Fingers
(The First bite Was Really Appetizing)

We went down to  Pantai Cenang. There were several food trucks by the beach along Jalan Kuala Muda. Just a short distance from  airport runway. Anyway, we just went to a  nearby food truck. Then we found ourselves  a table under a shady tree near the beach. By then we felt we were being loved in the caress of the sea. So calm and peaceful. The waves of the sea kept beating the beach and  the sea breeze once in a while whispered softly. We felt romantically calm and peaceful. Of course for our lunch, Laksa ikan sekoq, the local delicacy,  was a moment to remember. Well, the panoramic  beach, the gently touch of sea breezes and relaxing sounds of waves  are everything that's worth a dream.

8 Julai 2017 | Shell Out Langkawi Seafood Restaurant

By Licking Our Fingers
(The First bite Was Really Appetizing)

Finally our steps took us to  Shell Out Langkawi Seafood Restaurant. Situated near the beach of Cenang, Langkawi. It's actually a concept of sharing food together on a table. Served directly onto the table and  laid on white paper. Then eaten without any cutlery. It's a bit weird. However, after viewing the list of dishes from the menu, we ordered Combo menu. These included tiger shrimp, crabs, snails, and mushrooms. I was a bit skeptical at first. But I was amazed at the pile of food on the middle of the table, so mouth-watering in yellow light. Anyway the first bite was really appetizing. In  half an hour we finished it by licking our fingers. However fragrant of the pepper still lingered in my taste bud after leaving the restaurant.

Finish Off Our Last Bite
(The Night Had drifted Into A Whisper Of Nostalgia)

We arrived at Selera Lubuk Buaya Restaurant rather late. It’s located at  Lot 9659 Kampung Padang Putih, Jalan Pantai Temoyong, Mukim Kedawang. After looking at each corner, finally we sat down together at a long table  in the hut of "Sarang Buaya". We ordered:  three-flavoured siakap, chicken tomyam and turmeric fried meat. Once in  a while we could feel the gentle breeze off the coast of Cenang. So did the lights keep glimmering  along the way and thus making the night more lovely and lively. In a rather romantic setting, the taste seemed to float in the night air. It was as if the night had drifted into a whisper of nostalgia. Somehow or other, we took the last piece and finish off our last bite. Smooth and easy, till not even a bit left. What a finger-licking dish. By then it's worth telling all the deliciousness of traditional Kedawang cuisine.

Tempting To Taste
(Was Delicious To The Bone)

It took us a while to reach our destination. Anyway we were right on time, following the waze navigation. After parking, we took a few stairs to enter the restaurant. It was said,  Ayam Golek 5 Star Restaurant, in Kg. Pantai Dalam, was so popular as "5 Star" was  registered under its name. Even the surrounding was quite airy and eco-friendly. Once in a while we could hear the late night-time train passed by. Just a lively noise that broke the silence of the night. Anyway the restaurant offered other dishes but I wasn’t interested.  Instead the aroma of  lemongrass, turmeric and onions were  tempting to taste.  Well, all  I could say, ayam golek was delicious to the bone. Finally we drove home with a breath  that still smelled like chicken.

Kitchen By The Beach
(I Found Out That “Racun” Kill My Doubt)

Previously, Dapo Pata Uptown Kontena went viral on social media when it started operating. It’s located by the beach of Tok Jembal, overlooking a lagoon in the South China Sea. No wonder Dapo Pata or "kitchen by the beach" was gaining a public attention. Especially the cluster of eateries  were made of recycled shipping containers. So, we did not want to be missed out from the place of interest.  Yet I wonder what was the speciality it had to offer. This question aroused my curiosity. Then, soon enough we arrived around 7 p.m. Later we dropped by at a nearby  container. A unique menu suddenly caught my eyes, "mee racun special Batu Pahat". What the hell was going on. Well then, another curiosity stimulated my appetite. Anyway I might as well taste that "mee racun".  After all no harm done. Later I found out, that " racun" actually killed my doubt.  Might be it's just a commercial gimmick to lure customers.
