It’s the taste that brought us to Wong Solo Restaurant at Jalan Plumbum, Seksyen 7, Shah Alam. Well known for its Indonesian cuisine, especially ayam penyek. However different people had different taste. So was I, but my choice was of course grilled chicken. Well, there's no accounting for taste actually. Anyway it’s the aroma and taste that had been the main attraction all along, making the restaurant  a full house at noon. By then it's really worth the expense.

Since we had never been to this place before,  so we might as well just let our eyes find our lunch venue. That’s what made us a sudden stop at D’Bayu Café, in Taman Prima Saujana, Kajang. Its catchword was so inviting, “LepakJap”. So, why not we just "lepak sekejap", after a few hours  of traveling in the car. Of course Faiz with his favourite typical menu, nasi goreng USA, (Not nasi goring Volgo). Well, then after finishing a plate of chicken rice, all I could say was "boleh tahan".

Its been said that D’nis Patin Oriee had a good ranking in Dataran Suria, Puncak Alam. So, might as well we had to prove it ourselves.  Well, this idea brought us to a table number 9 then. Though it’s a bit late for lunch, we couldn’t help feeling an adrenaline rush. Just to satisfy our hunger. So it’s true to its popularity then. No wonder we wiped it clean. Wow, what a finger-licking traditional meal.

The appetite took us to Dapo Fateema, at Simpang Tok Ku, Jalan Sultan Mohamad, Kuala Terengganu.  However we were fortunate to have  a seat B3 under patio umbrella. Then with its words of wisdom: "Sabar Itu Indah", so we had to wait patiently. Somehow this morning really provided us comfort and relaxation to enjoy the Malaysian cuisine. Of course nasi minyak and green tea, which made this outlet a dining experience to remember

BBQ Invitation

(That Night Was Very Meaningful)

It's hard to turn down the BBQ invitation for grilled chicken.  As if the aroma of grilled chicken kept  tempting. Of course we could not ignore our brother-in-law invitation. After all, grilled chicken was  also listed in my favorite dish. So we arrived on time at PKR Batu Hampar. Just 1 kilometer from our home in Seri Teratai, our home sweet home. By then smoke from a homemade charcoal grill filled the night air. The mouth-watering aroma caught our appetite. Well, undoubtedly that night was very meaningful when it could  satisfy the appetite. After all, it's the taste what mattered most.

(Feeling A real Glow Of Satisfaction)

We entered the Seafood Foodcourt Pasar Besar, Jalan Haji Saman, Kota Kinabalu. Looking for  the right place to dine out. By then there were many eateries under one roof. So, might as well we let the eyes made the choice. Usually where many people eat, then the food was definitely delicious. Finally Seri Tiga Rasa Seafood Restaurant was the right choice for dinner.   Fortunately table number 10 was still empty.  Then without delay we ordered  three flavored fish, squash flour, shrimp butter, salted egg crab and salted fish. Actually I was not the kind of person who had  high taste. However, it did seem to challenge my dietary restrictions. Anyway the night witnessed  my last bite. By then I felt a real glow of satisfaction. There was no denying that it was a real blessing.

Finally we drove our car to the point of interest, Pok Rosid Ikan Bakar Restaurant.  Located in Kg. Bukit Tunggal,  Kuala Terengganu. It has been speculated that Pok Rashid's grilled fish was the best around. So we might as well prove it ourselves. If it was not proven by sense of taste then it was just a narrative of nothingness. So after parking,  we found our way to the restaurant. Well, it’s the nose that smelled better than the tongue. So the aroma kept floating the entire restaurant as to stimulate our appetite. After a few minutes everything was on the table. By then we were ready to prove the dish. Then no word could interfere with our desire to finish the dish. Finally the last bite told everything. So  it's true to its popularity then.
